The Miller Analogies Test also known as MAT is a test used firstly for graduate school admissions in the United States of America. The MAT Test is created by Harcourt Assessment, and contains 120 questions, and the students will have one hour to finish the exam.
Although there are 120 questions, only 100 are taken in consideration when calculating the final score. The rest of the 20 questions are experimental. Anyway,it is impossible for the students to find out which those 20 questions are, so they will have to answer all.
The test takers can choose for a computer-based exam , or a writing one. The MAT Test can be taken in those both ways. One disadvantage is that the test cannot be taken in others languages, and also, it is not permitted to use dictionaries or other things that may help in any way.
There are many graduate schools using the MAT exam scores to find out the abilities and skills that a student may have.
When you register for this exam, of course, you will have to pay some taxes. However, you can find more information about the taxes, the dates and the specific locations on their official website, or by phone .
Before the day of the exam,be sure that you had study a lot. Take a look on some MAT study guide or tests, so that you would have any idea what the test is going to be about.
Good luck!
