The Law School Admission Test which is also known as LSAT is an exam that is mostly used in the United States, Canada, and Australia, administered by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) for future law candidates. It is designed to evaluate logical and verbal abilities
The LSAT Test has six sections containing four scored sections, and also one unscored experimental section, and a writing one.
The test contains five multiple choice questions sections, which you have to finish it in 35 minutes, one of the section being the unscored one, followed by a writing task. There are different test forms used for each exam, each has the multiple choice sections in a different order. This is made special to confuse the students, making it almost impossible to cheat or guess which the experimental section is before the test is complete.
The present LSAT test contains two logical sections, also known as “arguments”. Each question begins with one paragraph that presents an argument or a short set of facts. The paragraph is followed by a unhesitating question, asking the test taker to find the argument’s speculation, an alternate conclusion, logical omissions or mistakes in the argument, to choose another argument with parallel rational, or to identify an affirmation that would either make the argument strength, either weaken.
The LSAT test has some difficult and hard questions, which most students should skip. Sometimes, there are students who became so obsessed with a particular problem and are wasting the whole time trying to solve it. To reach a good score, learn to move on because all questions have the same number score, no matter the difficulty level. So skip those hard questions and concentrate on the easy and possible ones.
Students can take the test only three times in two year. Each personal LSAT score received in the past five years is reported to law schools during the application process, and also a separate average of all scores. There are many law schools using the highest score, but there also law schools using the medium score.
